NORFOLK, Va. — A woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries after she lost control of her vehicle in the westbound tube of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Thursday morning and struck the jersey wall, according to Virginia State Police.
Trinity Iris Downs, 22, of Hampton, was in the left lane on I-64 when she lost control and crashed. She was driving a 2017 Lexus SUV.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m.
Charges are pending, VSP says.
