NORFOLK, Va. — A brush fire snarled traffic along the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Saturday afternoon.
It was impacting the eastbound lanes. Information on the Virginia Department of Transportation's website showed a backup lasting 3 miles.
VDOT cameras showed emergency vehicles responding to the eastbound lanes.
Virginia State Police told News 3 Norfolk Fire-Rescue put the fire out.
Traffic appeared to be moving again around 4:45 p.m.
It's unclear how the fire started.
