PORTSMOUTH, Va. - This Friday's Hiking Hampton Roads features Paradise Creek Nature Park in the city of Portsmouth.
The park is 40-acres of forest and wetlands, and features two miles of trails.
It's located right off of the Elizabeth River, which "was once presumed dead as one of the most polluted rivers on the Chesapeake Bay," according to the river's website. The river's restoration began in 2001.
