CHESAPEAKE, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain explores Oak Grove Lake Park in Chesapeake, Virginia.
According to the City of Chesapeake website, this location's 130 acres are evenly split in half between the lake and scenic space. A 1.5 mile multi-use fitness trail for walking, jogging and biking runs the perimeter of the 65-acre lake. This location features a playground, six outdoor fitness stations, and a handful of fishing and observation platforms.
