VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain explores Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
According to the park's website, the 42-acre preserve features more than 12,000 feet of shoreline.
This location contains four trails, one paved and three unpaved, that make up just over 1.5 miles.
