NORFOLK, Va. - The number of veterans receiving telehealth services during the pandemic has grown dramatically.
The Department of Veterans Affairs says more than 14,000 video telehealth appointments are being conducted daily right now, compared to about 1,868 per day in March.
More than two million VA prescriptions were refilled online during March, which represented the most ever in a single month.
Dr. Neil Evans, Chief Officer for VA’s Office of Connected Care, joined News 3 anchor Todd Corillo to discuss the telehealth services being offered by the VA currently.
