VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend is Virginia's largest outdoor celebration at the end of September, and they just announced their lineup of events for the long anticipated festival!
From concerts, beer and wine fests, end-of-summer parties, an 8k, surfing championship, volleyball tournament and the internationally acclaimed sandsculpting competition, the festival celebrates life at the beach and drives tourism to the area.
Starting in August, the Neptune Festival's Symphony by the Sea Concert Series kicks off the events.
The free concert series features performances by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Symphonicity, performed on select Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Neptune's Park on 31st Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Next on the lineup is the Coastal Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, August 26 at Neptune's Park.
The beer fest will feature local Virginia beers, ciders and seltzers along with national and regional craft beers. Moontide Sundries and Sour Street Pizza will also be in attendance for all of your food needs!
Not a beer person? No problem! Neptune's 26th Annual Fall Wine Festival takes over the Oceanfront September 16 and 17.
Anyone attending will be able to meet the vintners responsible for helping build Virginia's wine reputation.
Rounding out the event lineup before the start of the Boardwalk Weekend is the End of Summer Bay Bash at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club on September 22.
Celebrate the end of summer with endless food and drinks, live music and dancing in support of Toby's Dream Foundation.
And the most exciting weekend at the Oceanfront for September returns from September 30 to October 2 to close out the end of summer events.
