VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Beach arts district just added ten beautiful murals to properties around the neighborhood.
The sixth-annual Mural Festival ran from August 18-27 in the ViBe Creative District and concluded Sunday.
It featured 14 artists and was sponsored by The Fine Family and The Runnymede Corporation.
“Each artist creates a rendering that gets submitted to the city of Virginia Beach and the ViBe District before it gets presented on the wall, so we get a sneak peek and then the fun part is watching the public enjoy seeing these murals," said Kate Pittman, Executive Director for the ViBe District.
A release detailed the locations of the new murals and the artists behind them:

Troy Summerell, the artist behind OnieTonie tells News 3 he's excited to have his art displayed as visitors drive into the Virginia Beach resort area.
"What I hope this provides is just a real super positive, colorful piece of art, and that's gonna greet everybody that comes down to the Oceanfront," he told News 3.
According to the ViBe District, the murals are located within 1.5 miles. The public is welcome to view them with self-guided walking tours, or through guided walking, bike and golf cart tours.
