Norfolk State University Homecoming
Calling all Spartans! Norfolk State University is having it's homecoming this weekend!
The school is welcoming alumni back to the Mermaid City.
Festivities kick off Friday with the Spartan Spirit-Fest in front of the student center, from Noon To 6 p.m.
The homecoming parade is Saturday morning-- followed by the Spartan’s football game against the Delaware State Hornets at 2 p.m.
Experience the taste of the Chesapeake Bay this weekend at the Poquoson seafood festival! It's back for the first time since the pandemic.
The celebration is happening all weekend long with food, live entertainment, fireworks, boat races and more. It costs just $10 to park.

Town Point Virginia Fall Wine Festival
The Wine Fest is back for round two at Town Point Park this weekend!
The Mermaid City is hosting the fall festival both Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Those 21 and up can taste wine from more than 20 Virginia wineries.
Tickets start out as low as 30 dollars.
