VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Last week, Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey and I, along with my babies, took a walk through the ViBe district at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
ViBe stands for Virginia Beach. This has always been one of my favorite areas. You're not only getting exercise, but you can also stop for a bite to eat or grab a coffee while taking in all the wonderful public art and murals.
I honestly cannot imagine this area without all the colorful artworks.
As Patrick and I were walking, I pointed out murals that were done by artists I have interviewed over the past year.
The district had their 6th annual ViBe Mural Festival in August, which added 10 new murals painted by 14 artists in 10 days.
According to the ViBe's website, the ViBe is where our creative businesses have set up shop to share their passion and inspire a sense of discovery in locals and visitors alike.
