“Starting before COVID came out, we had a great system in place for selling cars online. Since the COVID has taken place, that's caused people to take advantage of that,” said Steven Snyder, the President of Checkered Flag Toyota. “Over the course of the time, we've been on it. We've seen a growth in that.”

“We generally believe that we do better by listening to our consumers. During the pandemic, our consumers were telling us [that] they still had a need but a need to transact in a different way,” General Sales Manager Michael L. Wood explained. “So, the opportunity allowed us to move our business into a forward position to make sure we're serving our community all the way - in the way they see fit.”

Checkered Flag says business has been steady during the pandemic.
