Yelp lists top 50 places to eat in Hampton Roads

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Yelp has listed the best 50 places to eat in the 757 area based on reviews and more from Hampton Roads residents.

27 of these businesses have opened within the last five years, nearly half represent international cuisines, and a Virginia Beach seafood restaurant made the number 1 spot.

The list was determined by an algorithm that considered review trends in the last year and overall restaurant ratings in Coastal Virginia.

Businesses on this list are featured in the cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Poquoson with a health score of 70 or higher.
