NORFOLK, Va. – Police are investigating a hit and run crash that left a 62-year-old woman in critical condition early Thursday morning.
Around 1:15 p.m., Thursday morning officers responded to the 500 block of N. Military Highway for a crash involving a pedestrian.
Police said the preliminary investigation revealed the woman was crossing over N. Military Highway when she was struck by a vehicle and that the vehicle fled the scene.
The woman was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
