VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Opening a new business is hard enough...without having to shut down just five weeks in.
That's what happened to Hammer & Stain after opening on February 1.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the DIY workshop business to temporarily close its doors after just a few weeks. Now it's back open and trying to bounce back.
Instead of offering public workshops, the business is focusing on private DIY experiences to still get creative juices flowing while keeping people safe.
With the help of an instructor, customers get to create their own projects, including everything from wooden decorations for their home to mountable beer bottle openers.
Private workshops can host up to ten people, according to Hammer & Stain's website.
Hammer & Stain is located at 4239 Holland Road Suite 784 in Virginia Beach. Sign up for a workshop HERE.
