WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - One local school district is having trouble with remote learning on the first day of the school year.
Williamsburg/James City County Schools are currently experiencing problems with StudentVUE, the system used for remote learning.
Around 9 a.m., oficials said they were working with a service provider to troubleshoot the issue, "it is unclear whether this is a local issue or part of a larger access problem as students across Virginia begin school," they said.
Around 9:45 a.m., school officials said, "The issue with WJCC Schools StudentVUE appears to be resolved. The service provider added extra access resources at their end of the system. Students should be able to login now. Thank you for your patience.”
