VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Officials and parents with Virginia Beach City Public Schools said they were experiencing issues on the first day of virtual learning.
News 3 reached out to school officials after concerned parents described the situation to us as 'complete confusion' and 'chaos'.
The Public Information Officer with VBCPS responded saying that, "Our internet filtering provider is having an issue that is affecting schools across the East Coast."
School officials in Virginia Beach are now saying that this issue has been resolved and schools are once again gaining access to internet resources.
We appreciate your patience surrounding the internet outage. The issue has been resolved and we are hearing from school buildings that they are once again able to connect to internet resources. Thank you.
