VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation (VBPR) is now welcoming new members at all seven community recreation centers.
VBPR is also now offering a 30-day pass at just $21 for Virginia Beach residents.
Certain areas of the centers will remain closed and reservations are required for use.
The centers held a soft opening at the end of June, to make sure that new protocols were working smoothly and monitor utilization trends before resuming the sale of new memberships.
Rec centers currently have timeslots available each week for the weight rooms, gymnasiums, group fitness classes, lap swimming, family swim, and racquetball.
