VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach courthouse has re-opened after an active threat in the Municipal Center just before 11:30 a.m.
The sheriff's office says Virginia Beach police have taken a woman into custody.
A spokesperson for the police department told News 3 that an armed woman was in the vicinity of the courthouse threatening to harm herself.
There were no reports of any injuries.
