VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Grand Slam Car has announced the return of their haunted car wash event.

“Tunnel of Terror” will take place at the Indian River Road location, 5668 Indian River Road.

Drivers will experience a haunted car wash, met by ghosts, goblins and more keeping creepy company while their vehicles are scrubbed down.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting this fun, spooky seasonal event for our local community. 2020 has been an unprecedented year in many ways, and we look forward to providing a break from the stress for our customers alongside the opportunity to find enjoyment and laughter through our “Tunnel of Terror,” said Josh Maneely, Operations Director of Grand Slam Car Wash.

The Tunnel of Terror will be open October 23-25, October 30 and November 1. Event hours will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Admission is $20 per vehicle, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the local food bank.

The haunted event is still a car wash, so drivers never get out of their vehicle, making it COVID-19 safe.

On October 24, the car wash will have 97.3 The Eagle on-site.
