VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The annual Holiday Parade at the Beach has been canceled due to COVID-19.
Event officials announced Monday that the annual holiday parade, originally scheduled for Saturday, December 5, has been canceled due to Governor Northam's Executive Order 67 limiting large events.
Holiday Parade at the Beach participants and spectators can look forward to the event’s return in 2021.
The city says it is following guidelines from the Virginia State Department of Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
