VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach City Public Schools will now provide a regularly-updated report with the number and location of confirmed COVID-19 cases within their schools and administrative buildings.
The information will be arranged by date when reported to the school division.
Out of respect for the privacy of the staff and students, cases will refer to “individuals” only.
VBCPS say anyone considered to be a close contact of an affected individual will be contacted by the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health or VBCPS health services directly. All others will receive a notification letter from VBCPS.
