VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - There's good news for people looking for work in Hampton Roads.
Two area cities recently ranked among the best for places to find a job.
WalletHub, a personal finance website, released their findings Tuesday.
They compared more than 180 cities across the country on a number of factors, including job opportunities and employment growth.
Virginia Beach came in at number three on the list while Chesapeake was seventh.
"Virginia Beach definitely did better when it comes to social economics, so looking at that more so than the job market, we’re looking at things like median annual income, transit accessibility, housing affordability and COVID-19 actual numbers," said Jill Gonzalez, WalletHub analyst. "Chesapeake has a bit of a stronger job market itself, so more actual job opportunities, more things like disability friendliness and full-time employment versus part-time employment."
