MATHEWS COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police said two people died in a crash Tuesday on Buckley Hall Road or Route 198 in Mathews County.
It happened at 11:30 a.m. less than a mile east of Route 3, or Windsor Road. State Police said two SUVs traveling in opposite directions crashed.
An investigation is underway. State Police did not release the names of those involved.
