PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A 16-year-old teen was injured in a shooting in Portsmouth Thursday night.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, the shooting happened near the 3800 block of Sugar Creek Circle, and officers responded around 10:24 p.m.
When officer arrived on scene, they found the victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries to their lower body.
Police have not provided an update on the victim's condition or released any suspect information at this time.
