SUFFOLK, Va. - Students and faculty will have Election Day off.
Members of the Suffolk School Board voted on October 23 to adjust the academic calendar to make November 3 a division-wide holiday.
All departments, offices and schools will be closed that day.
Based on recently signed legislation making Election Day a state holiday, the School Board voted on Oct 23 to adjust the calendar making Nov 3, 2020 a division-wide holiday.
