Suffolk Police arrest man charged with first-degree murder

SUFFOLK, Va. - The Suffolk Police Department said a man accused of murder in connection with a February 6 homicide has been arrested in Southampton County.

According to police, 25-year-old Suffolk man Keishon Aljamonte Robinson has been charged with first-degree murder, being a violent felon in possession of a firearm, reckless handling of a firearm, discharging a firearm in a public place, shooting in commission of a felony, using a firearm in commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied building.

Robinson is accused of the February 6 homicide of Diamonta Christopher Price. He was also wanted on multiple felony charges related to two separate shooting incidents that occurred in July and August 2020.

Robinson was taken to the Western Tidewater Regional Jail, where he is currently being held without bond.
