SOMETHING IN THE WATER lineup announced

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — One lucky person found a 'hidden' message at the Oceanfront and won early access to the SOMETHING IN THE WATER lineup and two free VIP tickets.

According to the festivals Instagram page, the winner was identified less than 30 minutes after the contest was announced.

The scavenger hunt of sorts got a lot of attention with more than 900 comments in approximately an hour.

The festival's Instagram page said the first person to find a "special message," take a selfie near the Oceanfront and DM it to the account will get access to the lineup and two VIP tickets.

Chrysany Collier tells News 3 she won the contest, finding the message near the King Neptune statue.

"Pharrell thinks outside the box, so I think it was kind of cool," Collier told News 3 reporter Angela Bohon.

She added that she was wearing a Something in the Water hat which may have brought her good luck!

Organizers say they will be livestreaming the Something in the Water festival the whole weekend.
