YORK Co., Va. - York High School and Yorktown Elementary School are currently without internet service.

Officials say that school staff are working with Cox Communications to resolve this issue.

According to a Facebook post sent out by the school district, many classes are still taking place online with teachers who are at alternate locations with internet service.

Those teachers providing remote instruction to students from school buildings are relocating to where they will have internet access.

High school students are encouraged to continue logging in based on their class schedule. Elementary students in grades two through five will be notified by their teachers when their classes are back online.

Kindergarten and first grade students learning remotely today should continue their classwork as assigned.
