NORFOLK, Va. - Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar canceled a planned visit to Norfolk on Saturday, February 29.
The presidential candidate was scheduled to visit Elation Brewing Company on Colley Avenue.
Klobuchar was the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from the state of Minnesota.
Her planned stop in Richmond that same day was not canceled.
It will be a busy political weekend in Hampton Roads, as Senator Bernie Sanders will be campaigning at the Virginia Wesleyan University Convocation Hall on Saturday evening and on Sunday former Vice President Joe Biden is set to be in Norfolk for a community event.
