Former President Donald Trump announced Monday afternoon that he has selected Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate in the 2024 presidential election.

He made the announcement via Truth Social. His post is as follows:

Trump is also expected to speak about his vice presidential candidate pick at the RNC tonight.
