Police need your help for justice in killing of Portsmouth teen after all leads exhausted

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Detectives are looking for help after all their leads have been exhausted in a homicide case.

17-year-old Lamyricle Lee was shot as she was walking to the store with friends on August 5.

The shooting happened in the 2500 block of High Street.

Police said Lee was walking to the store with several other individuals when a vehicle stopped in front of them. The driver fired a number of shots striking the Lee. She succumbed to her injuries later that afternoon at a local hospital, according to police.

At this time, detectives have exhausted all their leads. They are asking the community for help to get justice and closure for Lamyricle and her family.
