The Norwegian web browser Opera is searching for a "Personal Browser" to surf the web for fun - and a salary of $9,000.
Opera said in a press release that it's about to open applications for someone to browse the web and share their experience online. Anyone in the world has a chance to apply for it, no matter who they are or where they live.
According to Opera, the two-week browsing period will take place during the winter of 2020-2021, and the successful candidate will be compensated with $9,000 and mentions on Opera’s social media channels.
To apply, candidates need to submit a short 15 to 60 second video to Opera where they talk about the most relevant browsing moment of their life.
"The browser is where your online life happens. We are curious to see the real faces behind the clicks," said Maciej Kocemba, product director for Opera. "We are looking for the untouched truth, no matter how boring, funny or strange it is. Whether you’re a nun streaming death metal at night, a fitness guru who bookmarks cake recipes all day, or a biker looking for knitting tutorials, we don’t judge."
