VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — News 3 is working to get more information about a shooting in Virginia Beach.
It happened around 5 p.m. Thursday on University Place.
When officers arrived at the scene they found one victim, awake and breathing. That person was taken to a local hospital.
The Virginia Beach Police Department later confirmed that the victim is 16 years old and is expected to recover.
So far, there's no information on a suspect.
