NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital Saturday morning.
Police received a call around 11:25 a.m. regarding a double shooting in the 500 block of Duck Pond Rd.
A 21-year-old man, Dashnell D. Trapp, of Norfolk, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. A 31-year-old woman was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
