NORFOLK, Va — A woman has died after a shooting occurred near the block of 1500 Kerrey Avenue Tuesday morning.
Norfolk Police responded to a call around 12:05 a.m. for the report of a gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, authorities found Precious U. Jones, 41, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Jones was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment where she later died from her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
