More than 70 employees will be present, with several offering on-the-spot interviews and even job offers.

"They can get hired on the spot...there's an area for interviews set up at gate 13," explained Ayanna Osouna, the Business Services Coordinator for theHampton Roads Workforce Council. "So you can come out, get information, and walk out with a job."

The council says this comes as employers are still struggling with staffing issues.

"We definitely see a struggle for our employers," said Osouna. "They do everything they can to get employees out and it's been a constant struggle since last year. But I really do think there's been an uptick in people getting back out there, wanting to join great teams, so we definitely see a transition happening."

It's happening on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Norfolk Scope Arena on Brambleton Avenue.
