NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - A Newport News police officer gifts a young man with supplies for his daughter.
Officer Washington, a Newport News school resource officer, realized how much one student cared for his daughter despite how expensive it can be for young parents.
Following a conversation with the student in the hallway, Officer Washington gave the student diapers and wipes for his one year old daughter.
