NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Calling all job seekers! Newport News Public Schools is seeking talented professionals to enhance its dedicated team.
Teachers and current and prospective support employees are invited to the school district's Online Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 26.
NNPS is looking to hire the following:
Teacher Candidates
Newport News Public Schools is hiring elementary teachers, special education teachers, English teachers, math teachers, science teachers, social studies teachers, career and technical education teachers, Spanish and French teachers, English as a Second Language teachers and school librarians for the 2020-2021 school year.
Teacher candidates should complete an online application as soon as possible.
Support Staff Candidates
Substitute teacher candidates, nurses, electricians, HVAC mechanics, painters, bus drivers, bus assistants, food service employees and custodians are needed.
