NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Newport News Police Department is investigating after a cell phone store was robbed Thursday morning.
Police said that at 11:05 a.m. Thursday, dispatch received a call for a business robbery at the Boost Mobile, located in the 14300 block of Warwick Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they learned that an unknown male entered the Boost Mobile, brandished a knife and demanded money. The offender took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the business.
No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
