NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Newport News Police Department will conduct additional DUI patrols to help against drunk driving during the July Fourth holiday.
The additional patrols will be held between Sunday and Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
If you have been drinking, the Newport News police say to call a friend, call a taxi or a ride share service to get home safely.
