National Hurricane Center offering free hurricane webinars for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders

As people continue learning and working from home, many parents are looking for education activities for their kids.

The National Hurricane Center is conducting webinars about hurricanes for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders living in the U.S. and other countries that are vulnerable to hurricanes.

These webinars will focus on the job of a meteorologist, the weather hazards that come with hurricanes, and how meteorologists get you the weather information you need before a storm.

Webinars can only accommodate 500 participants each, and you can register for the one coming up in Virginia at the link.The next session will be on Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m.
