Multiple people arrested in connection to shooting into Suffolk home in January

SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Police have arrested multiple people in connection to a shooting into a Suffolk home and vehicle in January.

According to police, the shooting took place on January 29 in the 200 block of Burnetts Way in the Burnett’s Mill neighborhood. Around 3:55 p.m. an occupied home and vehicle nearby were shot at, however no injuries were reported.

Following police's investigation, 18-year-old Dnardo James Iki Harrison, of Portsmouth, and 18-year-old Deonte Maurice Parker, of Suffolk, was each arrested on a total of 14 charges: Maliciously Shoot at Occupied Building or Vehicle (3 counts), Shoot Firearm from Vehicle (3 counts), Conspiracy to Commit A Felony, Willfully Discharge Firearm in Public Place (3 counts), Destruction of Property, Monument (2 counts), Contributing to the Delinquency of A Minor, and Assault & Battery by Mob.

18-year-old Terrance Matthew Granger, Jr,of Portsmouth, was arrested on a total of 12 charges, including Maliciously Shoot at Occupied Building or Vehicle (3 counts), Shoot Firearm from Vehicle (3 counts), Conspiracy to Commit A Felony, Willfully Discharge Firearm in Public Place (2 counts), Destruction of Property, Monument (1 count), Contributing to the Delinquency of A Minor, and Assault & Battery by Mob.

Police say petitions were also secured for a 17-year-old Suffolk male that was also involved in the shooting.
