WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for a shooting that took place Saturday.
Police say they are searching for 29-year-old Alexander E. Berkeley, of James City County, after a shooting occurred in the 800 block of Rochambeau Drive around 10:56 a.m.
According to police, a male victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. There is currently no word on his condition.
Berkeley is wanted for two counts of attempted murder, one count of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of attempted malicious wounding, one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police say Berkeley should be considered to be armed and dangerous.
