NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Newport News Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized with serious injuries early Sunday morning.
According to police, the call for the shooting came in at 12:36 a.m., and officers responded to the 200 block of Tricia Lane. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are described as life-threatening.
This incident remains under investigation, and there is currently no suspect information.
