NORFOLK, Va. - A man has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing at 515 N. Military Highway Wednesday night.
Around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Norfolk Police police responded to the area to check on the well-being of a man, identified as 63-year-old Virginia Beach man Douglas Warf, who they found unresponsive.
Warf was pronounced deceased at the scene.
After an investigation, police have arrested Joseph J. Giles, 64, and charged him with second-degree murder. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
According to Google Maps, the stabbing happened at the Ramada Limited Norfolk hotel, but police have not released any further details about the location of the crime.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident have not been released.
