HAMPTON, Va. — One person died following a shooting in Hampton Thursday afternoon.
The call came in just before 12:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Wakefield Avenue, police said. Officers found a man inside of a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
Medical personnel took the man to a local hospital where he later died, Hampton police said.
Police later identified the victim as 25-year-old Jehlani Brown.
