VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Forefront Church is set to celebrate Father's Day early with a doughnuts and coffee drive-thru Saturday morning.

Fathers and their families will receive coffee and a dozen donuts. The church is expected to get 400 boxes of a dozen donuts.

Jason Bedell, the church's pastor, told News 3 the event is open to everyone who may need a pick-me-up. The drive-thru is made possible with the help of local volunteers and businesses such as Bear House Coffee Roasters providing the coffee.

Attendees will remain in their cars and drive around the church, where they will pull up to tents and tables to pick up their coffee and donuts.

The church will also have mugs, shirts, and other items for a donation to support AidNow.org, the church's nonprofit that helps support the homeless and financially struggling families.

The doughnut and coffee drive-thru is from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Forefront Church is located at 2520 Holland Road in Virginia Beach.
