VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A new festival is coming to the Oceanfront in April, along with some big names.
Headliners include hip-hop artists Tee Gizzley and Juicy J. The lineup will also include local artists.
Audacy has named some of the other musicians playing the festival:
- NLE Choppa
- Skilla Baby
- 310babii
- Shordie Shordie
Audacy Oceanfront Concerts will take place the weekend of Apr. 26-28, which is the weekend Pharrell's festival Something in the Water once occupied.
During an update to Virginia Beach's City Council on Tuesday organizers released more details on what the festival will look like.
The footprint of the event includes 17th St. Park, 24th St. Park, and a main stage set up on the beach behind 31st St.
Organizers said the 17th St. area will allow those in attendance to experience everything that is coming out of the Virginia Beach area in terms of the arts.
At 24th St., there will be what organizers call 'DJ All-Day" where local, regional, and national DJs will be performing.
Organizers are hoping to keep the ticket price under $100 for a two-day pass and under $50 for a one-day pass.
More information, including ticket sales and additional artists, is expected to be announced soon.
