VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Four people on a boat were rescued Friday by a Virginia Beach Fire Department crew.
The boaters' vessel had run aground and began taking on water, VBFD said Friday.
VBFD's Fireboat 1 arrived on scene and were able to safely transport the boaters to Lynnhaven Marina uninjured.
It was not immediately clear why the boat ran aground.
