Update: Police identify man who was found shot to death on Calvin Street
An adult male was found suffering from a deadly gunshot wound on Monday night, according to Portsmouth police.
Police say the shooting was reported in the 10 Block of Calvin Street at 11:23 p.m. This is right behind Douglass Park Elementary.
When officers arrived, they found a man inflicted with a severe gunshot wound. The man was rushed to the hospital.
This incident is under investigation.
